Over a period of ten years our small voluntary group, with help from many others, raised €160,000 for the Irish Cancer Society and The Irish Kidney Association which was kindly supported by yourself. The road run became more and more successful due largely to your participation and generosity.
The Borris & District Tractor Nuts Committee is burdened with costs associated from an incident that arose within the 2009 Event.
We are now turning to you, our former supporters, and we are appealing for your help. We are all members of a community of people with a shared interest, and who have tried to use that shared interest to help charities which are in need of the support of groups such as ours. We would like to return to our annual tractor run and fundraising efforts to help the charities, but we will not be in a position to do so until this financial burden is alleviated.
We are very grateful for the support you have shown us in the past and we are now asking if you could help us out with a contribution, however small, to enable us to alleviate this burden.
We appreciate that the Covid pandemic has affected everyone and their circumstances. We would be extremely appreciative of any help you could offer us.
