Hi, My name is Alexander, I am 13 years old and I have been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a 4 week expedition to Borneo - a true one in a lifetime adventure that will challenge me, inspire me, and allow me to make a real difference.

During this expedition, I will be living completely off grid, trekking deep into the heart of the Borneo Jungle and working on long term conservation projects to help protect endangered orangutan habitats. One of the highlights will be a 5 day jungle trek exploring remote tropical wilderness and learning first-hand about this unique ecosystem and the threats it faces.

I will also be living as part of a rural community, experiencing working alongside local people to support sustainable community development. This will give me the opportunity to immerse myself in traditional culture, learn new skills, and understand how conservation and community work hand in hand.

I am aiming to raise £1000 which will go directly towards the cost of my expedition.
