Hi my name is Holly and I am aiming to raise enough money to volunteer over August 2025 in Borneo as a part of their field work course. The Borneo Nature Foundation completes critical work in national parks across Central Kalimantan to protect from deforestation and complete research into the current populations of species in these rainforests, like orangutans. I have the opportunity to volunteer for the researchers over three weeks to complete wildlife surveys of the local primates and insects in the Sebangau National Park to inform the current research while living in the rainforest. I am currently studying biology at university and has the ambition to become a wildlife researcher. I feel strongly that initiatives which fight to protect ecosystems should be supported, BNF works along side local communities and school to increase the efficacy of their work to ensure that the rainforests are protected; this opportunity is one that I have dreamed of being a part of and any support if greatly appreciated.

This money will go towards the cost to participate as a volunteer, these charges are to support this charity and the researchers completing their vital work.
