My name is Heather and if you have already come this far thank you.

I am a wife, a fur mama and a daughter. This year has been one of the most trying years of my life and I am at a total loss on what else to do.

My husband is on disability for a degenerative disease and we are now going through the process of getting him a double hip replacement, with now a new recent diagnosis of Crupus. (rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus) I was working from home for a company and absolutely LOVED my job.

The Company I worked for and loved with all my heart had decided as of September to eliminate our positions altogether to outsource to an outside company. Because I was only with the company for a certain amount of years and time I did not qualify for any type of severance package.

I have called every single resource that is available to me within a 20 mile radius and have found absolutely nothing. I was told from United Way that in my area, there are actually no resources available to us for help. On a tiny bright note, I am a finalist for a position at the local hospital that I applied for, but right now am still awaiting the official offer letter.

At this point, we are a few steps away from losing everything. We were already served our 3 day notice from our apartment complex and coming to the point where it's now heading to the courts. We are living on limited single income until I can get some paychecks in through my job, with every bill you can think of piling up. The goal amount is to hopefully keep us in our apartment for a few more months until my job kicks in and I can start putting money away to put towards the rent itself.

I know the holiday time is tough for so many people, so if you have come this far thank you. Thank you for being human, and not judging someone based off an unfortunate situation. If you can find it in your heart to donate my family and I will forever be grateful as we really have come SO far to have it all slip away. If you cannot donate, I understand completely, if I can get this link to just one person I can breathe just a little easier knowing I have done something for my family.
