Boost Tumbling Program: Help Us Get the Equipment We Need!
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Whitney Engeler.
Three years ago, my family moved to Henry, Idaho which is 19 miles from Soda Springs, the community I am passionate about supporting. With a background as a top-level gymnast and a decade of experience running a gymnastics program, I saw a unique opportunity to help the local youth here.
When I first arrived in this small town, I was offered the chance to buy and revitalize the gymnastics program. I felt that my experience and my daughter's background in gymnastics could be a perfect fit for the town's needs. However, due to the local gymnastics facility being displaced for remodeling and now the closure of a nearby gymnastics program, the community now faces a significant gap in essential gymnastics training.
Currently, I planning for the upcoming season of conducting tumbling classes at a local dance studio, but my resources are limited. I have been able to make a difference with just a panel mat and an air track, but to truly enhance the quality of these classes and support the youth effectively, I need more equipment. This includes basic items like cones, bean bags, a parachute, hand and foot placements, and a significant investment in a big wedge mat, which all costs around $1,000.
The goal of this fundraiser is to gather support from the community to purchase the necessary equipment. Your contributions will help provide essential tools for the children to develop basic gymnastics skills, which are crucial for their future in sports and overall physical development.
Thank you for considering supporting this initiative. Your help will make a significant difference in the lives of the youth in our community.
