Boost Helena's Daycare: Nourish and Nurture Kids

Last week when we arrived at our volunteer placement, The Golden Star Daycare, we realized this was more than just a school. Helena and her mother have raised some babies who were dropped off to school one day, and never picked up…it is much more than just a school. There are children from one years old, to five. They are so precious. Although they are living their best lives, they are definitely in need of some supplies and food. Paying rent has become a struggle, and the landowner will make them find a different property if bills keep delaying. After being here for only a week, we’ve created a gofundme to raise money for these children AND Helena to help them in any way possible. They are in need of toys, especially soccer balls, toy trucks, basketballs, footballs…as the ones they play with now are super deflated and don’t even bounce. We will be here for 3 weeks and here is stuff we want to be able to buy them in bulk so it lasts them a few months.
