Boost for Mom: Reunion to Ignite Hope

As everyone knows my mom fell back in May 2024 and had to have her hip repaired. Unfortunately after that surgery and that awful hospital things went downhill fast. Mom’s hip bone started to rot as well as she went into sepsis shock and we were told we only had a few hours with her. Her sepsis has since improved but she has a lot going on and a very hard road ahead of her. She still needs plates in her hip and unfortunately she’s not strong enough for surgery as well as her metal heart valve replaced. She is far too weak for any of these. She hasn’t gotten out of bed in over 3 months and is very weak! She’s stopped eating and isn’t drinking much enough either. A feeding tube (PEG) has been added but is causing pain so waiting on Dr. Her husband says that since we left she seems to have given up. I’ve went back and forth from our home here in Kentucky to Birmingham Alabama several times and have depleted all our savings on this. What I’m asking for is any type of donation you can make so that we can fly her son (whom she hasn’t seen in almost 10years) her daughter in law (an amazing nurse) and her new miracle grand baby (such a handsome lil man) to come see her and hopefully give her the boost she needs to keep fighting for her life. I’ve never asked for anything from my friends or family, but I really need you all! We only have one mom, I’d do anything to keep her around as I’m sure you’d do the same for yours. Please help me get our family together to raise my moms spirit. She’s never met her grandson and I think this is exactly what she needs to keep fighting
