Cesar Vasquez is seventeen years old. He just graduated a year early from Santa Maria High School. He is a proud Santa Maria resident. Cesar has been involved in community organizations since 7th grade and has cultivated a passion for helping others by tackling some of society's most complex and pressing issues. As a child of two Mexican field working immigrants, Cesar is proud of his heritage and works to continue advocating for equality and issues that affect his people. Cesar has led marches for immigrant rights, protecting indigenous land, women's rights, and ending gun violence. He has passionately spoken to hundreds at these rallies and marches, advocating for peaceful change. Cesar has also used his passion for public speaking at other large events and meetings, including the Santa Maria Joint Union High School school board meetings. Cesar brought awareness to students' mental health, education equality, and the effects of law enforcement on campus. Cesar also founded La Cultura Del Mundo, a youth led organization meant to create the next dreamers of the world. Cesar also organized the walkout to stand up against ICE which included students from 7 different campuses.

Cesar’s only mode of transportation is his feet. Imagine how much more he could accomplish if he had a way to get around more efficiently. We are looking to support him by raising funds for an e-bilke.
