Boost Amanda's Battle Against Stage IV Cancer

Hi There!

Over the last 9 months my sister has dealt with a lot medically due to Stage IV Breast Cancer in her lungs. She has been in and out of the hospital with some stays being short while others have lasted weeks. She has trialed different chemo meds and drugs to try to find one that works. She has done so many Vitamin C IVs and other IVs that they now are having trouble finding a viable vein. She has undergone multiple surgeries for placing and removing PluerX catheters to drain fluid around her lungs, to place filters to keep from blood clots going to her heart, and ones to go in and drain fluid surgically. Besides all the medical stuff she has endured she has had to try and overcome one of the hardest feats which is not letting the anxiety and depression take over. I have never been more proud of my sister because even on her darkest days she never gave up even if she wanted to. She is now on her way to a better place where she sits on the porch and has the motivation to seek Jesus in those super hard moments. She is hopefully now on an upswing but the only thing slowing her down is being on oxygen 24/7. With the level of oxygen Amanda needs most tanks only last 1 hour which doesn't give her much hope to ever get out of the house. She now is able to trial a purse Inogen oxygen tank that allows her about 7 hours of oxygen and a better quality of life. She wants to be stronger, she wants to keep finding purpose, and she wants to beat this. She has goals to get healthy for not only herself but for her boys. I want to let my sister live as much as possible so I am trying to raise money for her to purchase the Inogen tank for $3500 once her trial period is over in a month. Insurance doesn't cover it so I want to provide as much help in her purchasing it as possible!

Donations are great but prayers are always welcome. One day I pray that this horrible time has purpose and it's just a story we tell people to tell them miracles still exist.
