Hi, my name is Kyalie Moore. I'm a proud Yamatji woman and the founder of Boomerang Consultancy- a grass-roots, Aboriginal-led initiative committed to healing, justice, and the prevention of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence right across Australia. My idea is simple but powerful. I'm planning a solo road trip around the country, travelling to rural and remote communities, where FDSV often goes unspoken, and services are stretched thin or don't exist at all. These are the places where change is needed most, and where cultural safety and community voices must be at the centre of that change. This journey will allow me to deliver training, facilitate yarning circles, and support local services and workers on the front line. I'll be listening, learning, and walking alongside communities as they share their stories, their solutions and their strengths. I'll be creating digital content along the way - short documentary-style videos, blogs and photo journals - to raise awareness, honour lived experiences, and spark national conversations around what real, culturally safe prevention looks like. This is more than a road trip - it's a movement. A chance to Boomerang wisdom and resources back to communities, while bringing their voice forward into the national spotlight. By supporting this journey, you're standing with an Aboriginal-led solution grounded in community, culture and country. Together we can shift how Australia responds to violence- not just reactively, but with prevention, respect, and truth at the heart of it.
Thankyou for support. I'll be coming to a community near you.
Kyalie
