Book Harvest Read-A-Thon

General Services is hosting its first annual Read-A-Thon for children in the RTP area. All of the funds raised through the Read-A-Thon will go towards Book Harvest, a local nonprofit that provides books and literacy support to children who don’t have access to those resources. We want to encourage and inspire children to read and continue exploring over the summer. To pursue this mission, we set milestones and prizes for every certain number of hours read. But to be able to provide these prizes, we need your support!

Your donations will go towards fun and interactive prizes for the children who earned them including, lego sets, headphones, even an Amazon Fire tablet! Any additional funds collected will go directly to Book Harvest! We are looking to raise this money by June 2021 so we can provide our little participants with fun prizes. Every amount, no matter how large or small can make a difference in a child's life.
