Bolton Clarke Raffles Ride for Sight

Hello - we're Holden, 89, and Keith, 81 and we're residents at Bolton Clarke Raffles aged care home. We're part of a group of stationary cyclists at the home and we've decided to do a virtual ride to raise money for the Macular Disease Foundation Australia.
Our plan is to ride (virtually) from pub to pub up the Queensland coast from Coolangatta to Cairns, and back down the middle - a distance of about 3700km. At each pub we visit we'll be joining by a virtual link to share a drink and ask people to donate.
We'll be kicking off in person at the Coolangatta Sands Hotel on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12 noon (we'd love you to join us in person) and then we've mapped out the distances to other pubs which we'll visit over coming weeks.
Want to join us in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact for 1.9 million Australians whose vision is affected by macular disease. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause and we look forward to meeting you along the way!
