DONATE A MEAL TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS ON THE FRONTLINES OF THE BATTLE OF COVID-19
These are challenging times for all of us. We will get through this by helping each other, and by giving each other grace and support. We are grateful for the many hours and help given, and all of the sacrifices made by our first responders.
We want to help by feeding nurses, doctors, and other healthcare workers at ERs, ICUs, and other exposed hospital departments.
The heroes here are the Healthcare workers.
With your donation we will also be able to help many local food businesses while supporting our caregivers at the same time.
WHAT WE DO
Small local food businesses prepare healthy and nutritious meals, including dessert, in our commissary kitchen in Beaverton, OR. We deliver those meals to St. Vincent Hospital.
Donating to this cause will not only help the Healthcare workers, but also these small food businesses, who have been struggling because of the coronavirus pandemic. It will also unite us more as a community and show our compassion for one another.
100% of the donations received will go to the food businesses who make these meals.
Our goal is to feed as many healthcare workers as we can. We will not stop at St. Vincent Hospital. We want to expand to provide to as many as possible in the Portland area.
WHO WE ARE
Barbara Vybiral is the owner of Bohemian Kitchen, a commissary kitchen and incubator that supports small local food entrepreneurs in operating their businesses.
Barbara has a very special relationship with St. Vincent hospital. Both her boys were prematurely born here and received combined 18 weeks of care. The kids are now healthy and well. Barbara would like to show as much compassion, love, and care for the staff as they did for her and her two boys.
We, along with our customers, have experienced first hand the impacts of this pandemic. This is our way of showing gratitude to those on the frontlines of this battle against COVID-19. This will benefit so many in our community. Any dollar amount you are able to contribute will make a difference.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
With every donation received, these small food businesses will prepare meals for the Healthcare workers at St. Vincent.
Bohemian Kitchen will deliver the meals to the hospital; we will mention that this is all possible because of our awesome donors.
HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?
As mentioned, 100% of received donations go to the local small food businesses, to help them throughout this crisis.
These businesses will purchase the ingredients for as many meals as donation funds allow. They will be prepared at Bohemian Kitchen, and the time spent at the Commissary Kitchen will be paid through part of the donation, at the normal hourly rate as it was before the COVID-19 pandemic.
These meals will then be delivered by us at Bohemian Kitchen to the workers at the ERs, ICUs, and related departments, starting with St. Vincent Hospital. We would love to expand our circle of delivery into the Portland Metro Areas and Hillsboro.
