Bob’s Corner
Donation protected
Robert Theodore Wettengel II of Wyoming Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the age of 83. A former Recon Marine veteran who continued selfless his service until the sunset of his life.
Anybody who had a middle schooler or dog knew of Bob’s generosity and service. For over a decade Bob “manned his post” at the corner of Wyoming Ave. and Rt. 4. He dutifully ensured middle schoolers made it safely to and from school. His service to our community wasn’t just limited to our kids but he always took care of our four legged neighbors. Most dogs would always look forward to a special treat and a pat on the head from Bob.
Help us create a permanent memorial for Bob on the corner he spent so much time serving our community.
Ideas include naming the street corner after him and a permanent memorial that will perpetually take care of our four legged friends and remind our neighbors of his selfless service.
