We are coming together as a team to reach out a helping hand for Boaz Madeus and his family during a stressful time. A little bit of backstory: Boaz’s mom has lived in the U.S. on a visa for over 30 years after coming from Haiti, but due to a document issue from when his parents got married, something was deemed “illegitimate” and she’s been unable to apply for a visa. Now, with the current administration ending the specific visa program she is on, with less than two months’ notice, she is at risk of being deported. Boaz is having to cover all legal costs, including a $4,500 retainer fee just to get this process started. We are wanting to help him during this time and provide any support we are able to, anything you give will be so appreciated and will mean so much to him and his family!
