Hi, my name is Nicholas Santos. I am a freshman at Rutgers University studying cell biology/neuroscience with the aspiration of becoming a neurosurgeon. Mental health struggles are often invisible, but their impact is deeply real. Every day, countless people face battles with anxiety, depression, and other challenges that can make even the simplest tasks—like getting out of bed or reaching out to a loved one—feel overwhelming.

Over the past year, I have lost people close to me far too soon—lives forever changed because their struggles went unnoticed. This experience has strengthened my commitment to help others access the care and support they need before it’s too late.

With your help, I have committed to raising $2,000 for local New Jersey organizations that provide mental health services. These organizations offer services such as crisis support, assessment, and intervention to the community.
