❤️ RUNNING FOR A CAUSE — HELP US RAISE £3,000
BME Suffolk Support Group is aiming to raise £3,000 to support families and children experiencing hardship.
On 27 September 2026, two people from our team (BME Suffolk Support Group) will be taking on a Ipswich Half Marathon challenge to help us reach this important fundraising goal.
ADEWALE — RUNNING ON HIS BIRTHDAY
One of our member (Adewale), whose birthday is on 27 September 2026, the same day as the marathon. Rather than making the day only about himself, Adewale has chosen to celebrate his birthday by running for BME Suffolk Support Group and helping raise funds for children and families experience many challenges physically, mentally and financially.
What a better birthday gift could there be than helping make a difference in someone else's life?
♂️ OSMAN — RUNNING FOR BME SUFFOLK AGAIN
We are also delighted that Osman, who has previously used our services and also volunteered with BME Suffolk Support Group, has chosen to run for our organisation.
Osman took part in the marathon last year and achieved an incredible 3rd-place finish. This year, he is returning to take on the challenge again — this time proudly representing BME Suffolk Support Group and helping us raise funds for our community.
With your support, we hope to raise £3,000 to help BME Suffolk Support Group continue providing practical support to families and individuals experiencing hardship.
BME Suffolk provide food nourishment to everyone facing hardship via their Foodbank Project. We support Children and Young people with social & physical activities via their After-School Youth Club. We provide long-term support in Housing, benefit, employment and hardship fund support via advice and support. Finally, we provide platform via community engagement events to bring people across all background to build network support, friendship and stronger community.
Your donation can help us continue providing support that makes people feel, seen, valued, respected and cared for.
❤️ EVERY MILE COUNTS. EVERY DONATION MATTERS.
Adewale will be running on his birthday.
Osman will be running again after his fantastic 3rd-place finish last year.
And together, they will be running for families who need our support.
Whether you can donate £5, £10, £20 or more, every contribution brings us closer to our £3,000 target.
If you cannot donate, you can still help by sharing our fundraising appeal with your friends, family, colleagues and community.
