On January 1st, I was driving to a business conference and I started to smell something funny. I pulled up to a stoplight and while looking at the glare of my lights off of the car in front of me, I began to question why it was so foggy, I realized that it wasn’t fog, but it was smoke. I leaned out of my car to see where exactly the smoke was coming from. It went from a light smoke to thick white smoke to gray smoke, and it immediately burst into flames.
In a matter of seconds, the entire car was totally engulfed in flames. I had no time to grab anything out of the car. I had no time to save any personal belongings or anything. I unfortunately had to stand there and watch it burn. I’m taking the time out to make this GoFundMe page because a dear friend of mine in my reach out and search for resources and what not to acquire a new car stated to me, “don’t underestimate the kindness of humanity,” so I am choosing to not be the prideful person that I can be (or at least used to be) and choosing to not be the person who doesn’t reach out and ask for a helping hand on account of what people may think or for the sake of” knowing my business”. I am choosing to not underestimate the kindness of humanity, and I am choosing to reach out to those I know as well as those I don’t know and asking for an assist to turn this situation around.

A lot of what I do for income involves travel, getting my daughter to and from school, any and all all places that she and I need to go. All of that has been halted because of this abrupt and devastating car fire.

if you don’t want to, or aren’t able to give
I ask that you share this, because lending a helping hand also looks like : spreading the word that someone is in need.

I am grateful for my life and that I am physically OK. I am grateful in advanced for any and all of you that see this and choose to lend a helping hand.

Thank you and I love you.
