Hi Friends,

One of my childhood friends has stumbled onto desperately hard times. During Covid, she took care of her dying mother and found out she herself had a stroke condition. Since her mother passed away, she has struggled to stay positive and currently is making an admirable effort to find a new job and essentially start her life over from scratch.

I have watched her journey and it’s been scary and inspiring all at the same time. She doesn’t have any living family, so her care falls on her wider network of those that care for her. I would love to tell you her name, but she is too ashamed of the condition she’s found herself in.

I am creating this GoFundMe with the intention of offering a lifeline for someone who feels all alone and in the darkness.
