Bloomfield Starbucks Solidarity Fund

Since the election of President Trump and the appointing of Brian Niccol as the CEO of Starbucks, workers at the Bloomfield Starbucks have faced an unprecedented amount of union busting. Our hours have been slashed; tenured partners and pillars of our community have been unjustly fired; many of us have been struggling to pay our bills and put food on the table. As a result, we are opening up this solidarity fund to support those of us whose livelihoods have been negatively impacted by Starbucks' union busting.
Money from this fund will go towards the following:
1. Bloomfield partners who have lost hours thanks to union busting hour cuts.
2. Supplementary funds in the case we choose to go on strike at any point between now and when we win our contract.
3. Support for partners who have lost hours due to events beyond their control (power outages, water issues, etc.)
4. Workers who have been unjustly fired from the Bloomfield Starbucks.
We are proud to serve Bloomfield and the communities around it. We love our regulars as they are our neighbors. Make no mistake: Starbucks is targeting the Bloomfield store because we are so loudly pro-union (we were the first union Starbucks in Pennsylvania, after all), because we are queer and loud about it, because we love our community and live to be in our community. Corporate is afraid of us and the community support we have. We love Bloomfield and we love our jobs. We need community support now more than ever. Thank you <3
