Let’s Bloom Our Block – Together!

We’re a group of neighbors coming together to plant flowers in the tree beds along 82nd Street and Riverside Drive—starting right outside 98 Riverside Drive.

Right now, those tree beds are bare. But with a little effort and support, we can transform them into spaces full of color, joy, and life—something that brings beauty to everyone who passes by.

This project isn’t just about flowers. It’s about building community.

It’s about teaching our kids what it means to care for shared spaces.

It’s about neighbors meeting, laughing, and working together.

It’s about making our street feel more like home.

We’re raising $1,200 to cover the cost of soil, mulch, flowers, tools, gloves, and supplies to plant 7 tree beds. Every donation helps—whether it’s sponsoring a whole tree pit or chipping in a few dollars.

All funds will be used directly for the purchase of flowers, soil, mulch, tools, gloves, and signage for the 82nd & Riverside tree-bed planting project. We are 100% volunteer-run—no funds go to labor or overhead.

Kids will help too! We’ll have chalk art, a bake sale, and planting day fun for all ages.
