Blodgett family legal fund

Matthew and Hunter Blodgett are two incredible people who have been through hell and back with a custody battle of their daughter. Without going into too much detail and for the sake of not speaking ill of the other party involved I will keep it short and sweet.

They have been bombarded with legal costs of their own, and ones they’re required to pay for the other party - this along with their usual child support payments and having two young boys at home has caused an immense amount of stress on their family - especially during this holiday season.

They’ve recently relocated to a new state due to Matthews job and have found themselves in a tight and uncomfortable position, on the verge of losing many things, all while in a new and unfamiliar place far from their support system.

It’s a heartbreaking thing to see the people you so love struggle and not be able to do anything - which is why I am creating this. Matt and Hunter would give the shirt off their back to help someone they don’t even know. When they found themselves with a surplus earlier this year they didn’t splurge on themselves but instead gave to multiple people who they knew were struggling, myself included.

Maybe you don’t know their situation or their family personally, but I implore you to consider what lengths you would go to to keep your child in your life. How thin you would stretch to be able to see them again, squeeze them close. This was not a financial mistake - it wasn’t reckless spending. This was a family fighting until they had nothing left just to see their beloved daughter again.

Their daughter now gets to see her dad and mama Hunter, along with her two brothers again. Part of the battle is won! But now that the dust is settling there is no break or time to relax as they must face the financial part of it all head on.
