Help blind 14 yr old boy create app

Donation protected
My son Emmanuel is 14 years old and visually impaired.  Two years ago he went on a field trip to an arcade and came home hungry, when I asked him why he didn't eat he said, “I couldn’t see the menu and there was nobody to ask for help.” That night he decided that there should be an app to help blind people access restaurant menus, and EyeMenu was born.

Blind people and visually impaired people do not have equal access to menus at most restaurants. My son and I have talked to people in the blind community about the app idea and they love it.  One woman was happy because "I won't have to order the same thing everytime."

To address this inequality we are creating EyeMenu, an app that reads menu information to blind people. Our CTO is Peter Rothman who has known Emmanuel for years. EyeMenu can also answer questions such as "How much is a soda?" or "What are the cafe drinks without coffee?"

What started as a bad day for Emmanuel has turned into a startup company. We are asking for donations to continue working on EyeMenu; we need to do a bit more work before we're ready to pitch to the Silicon Valley investors.
