UPDATE: WOW!!! You guys are amazing. Blew past the goal in less than 48 hours. We are withdrawing the original goal amount and have bumped up the goal so we can continue to help the staff here as the shutdown continues.
As you surely realize, the service industry has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Closures and workforce reduction are hitting bars and restaurants everywhere. While we are able to sell some beer and liquor packaged to-go, it is obviously not enough to support normal business expenditures and our bartending staff. Our staff was encouraged to apply for unemployment, but who knows when that may arrive and if it will be enough to cover their expenses.
We have been approached by loyal customers asking how they can help the staff they have come to love and miss. We are starting this GoFundMe to give that outlet, in addition to giving them all the tips we receive from delivery orders. We appreciate your patronage throughout the years and any help you can send their way in these difficult times.
