BLG Toronto Articling Students Support Fred Victor
Donation protected
Hi all! It's the 2020/2021 BLG Toronto Articling student class. In the spirit of the holidays and giving back during these tough COVID times, we would like to announce our articling student holiday fundraising initiative.
We have committed ourselves to supporting Toronto's homeless and vulnerable populations by participating in the Fred Victor "Winter Care Kits" project.
Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization that fosters long-lasting and positive change in the lives of homeless and low-income people living across Toronto. Fred Victor has existed for over 125 years, and serves over 2,000 people across the GTA daily.
The "Winter Care Kits" initiative consists of preparing gift bags with essential items such as snacks, socks, hats, hygiene items and personal protective equipment, for clients of Fred Victor.
This is where we need your help. As there are 23 students in the Toronto office, we would like to raise $1,150 in order to create 23 winter care kits valued at approximately $50 each. Our goal is to use the funds to purchase winter essentials and drop off the customized care packages with handwritten cards to Fred Victor before the official start of winter (December 21, 2020).

There is no donation too big or too small during these unprecedented times, which have unfortunately had a disproportionate toll on the most vulnerable members of our society. Thank you in advance for your support!
*Please note that tax receipts will not be issued for donations*
