Blessing Joe and Marie Plant
Hello everyone as many of you know Marie Plant (Aunt Marie) was diagnosed with colon cancer that metastasized to her liver March 17th 2021. Anyone who knows aunt Marie is blessed. I can’t even begin to describe her amazing spirit. She is a wonderful mother to her two boys Jonah and Trevor. She is such a loving caring wife to her husband Joe Plant. She would literally give you the shirt off her back. She watches everyone’s children. Is always there in times of need. They have helped others when in need of money, babysitters, or just a friend. She is my best friend. She teaches children at church and works in the nursery. She leads ladies prayer at her church. To know her is to truly be blessed.
Joe works full time and works very hard. Aunt Marie had to stop working due to her cancer treatments and side effects. They are in need of a roof and siding as well they are replacing their bathroom shower. Aunt Marie can not go through this fall or winter without this. Due to her cold sensitivity this is an extremely dangerous situation for her. I have felt led to open this go fund me. Today I had a very respectable women in her church tell me she felt pressed upon her to have me open this. With their families permission we are asking that you please give as you may. We appreciate any contribution. No contribution is too little. Thank you so much. Much more than monetary donations we appreciate your prayers and well thoughts. God bless you.
I have included her medical updates from her below.
Hello family and friends. This is Marie, some of you know what's been going on with me since Wednesday March 17th but many of you don't so I'm making a post so everyone gets the most accurate information. Sorry about this being long. I went to the emergency room with severe stomach pain early Wednesday morning. They took blood work and did M.R.I'S and some cat scans. I have been diagnosed with colon cancer that has moved to my liver. Yesterday they removed the mass from my colon and once I leave the hospital I will be doing chemotherapy to shrink the cancer in my liver. Once it has shrunk enough ,they will do surgery to remove the cancer and a piece of the liver. I will keep everyone updated the best I can. I covet your prayers and well wishes. Love you all bunches, Marie
Hello family and friends.I hope you're having a good day. This is Marie with a health update.monday April 19th was my first (5hr) Chemo . treatment
And then I was sent home with an automatic pump çonnected to my port that slowly gave me medicine over a 46hr.time frame. Today the pump was removed and I received an iron infusion. The side effects have been minimal .Praise Jesus. The main thing is I can't eat, drink or touch anything cold while having my treatments. I forgot and didn't let my fruit warm up and it felt like my tongue had frost bite. Did I learn my lesson nope. I forgot and grabbed something from the fridge without gloves, the instant pain in my hands let me know not to do that again. God is so good.❤️❤️ My next round of chemo will be Monday may 3rd. I'll keep everyone updated.
Good morning everyone. Here is my newest health update. Yesterday I received round two of chemo and now have the pump on until tomorrow at 1 pm. The pump slowly releases the rest of the meds. The side effects are minimal thank you Jesus. The Dr . gave me a good report. My cancer levels have already gone down by 200 and my blood is up to 10 1/2 . The kidneys and the liver are doing good. He smiled and said he was very pleased. I give God all the praise and glory for using these Dr's and technology to heal me . I thank you for all the prayers. God is answering. I'm so blessed beyond measure . Thank you all for the love and support. I hope you have a wonderful day and if you get the chance dance in a rain puddle for me.lol
Hello and good morning everyone. Here is my medical update. Yesterday was round three of my chemo treatments and the mid way point. The Dr said red and white blood cells are good, the cancer markers for the tumor are still going down and the liver is still functioning good. Praise God. Last week I had four rough days but the week ended on three great feeling days, praise God! Glad for warm weather coming . It's still too painful to drink , eat or touch anything cold but things could be worse. I'm going to put on my sunblock and use other precautions to sit outside in indirect sunlight to enjoy this beautiful day . Thank you all for your continued prayers and support for me and my family. Love you all❤️❤️ have a great, beautifuly blessed day. Due to the holiday my next treatment will be on June 7th.
