We are a team of community bankers, each working at different small community banks throughout Indiana. One of the biggest needs we see in our communities is food security, and we wanted to do something meaningful to help. Our plan began with the idea of placing a single Blessing Box—a mini outdoor food pantry—in an Indiana county facing food insecurity. These Blessing Boxes are small, publicly accessible cabinets filled with non-perishable food, basic hygiene products, and essential daily supplies, available to anyone in need.

As we reached out, we found four churches in Crawford County, Indiana, who graciously agreed to host a Blessing Box on their property. With their support, our project grew, and now we hope to place a Blessing Box at each church, making a real difference for families and individuals facing tough times. The funds raised will help us purchase the kits for four Blessing Boxes and buy non-perishable food to fill them once they are installed.
