This is a Good News Post! Hello my name is Mike Alverts and I am a support staff of Covenant Pastors in Alaska. One of our dynamic pastors in Alaska is Don Cross. Don serves in the remote community of Koyuk on the West coast of Alaska. Don is such a gift to me, to the Alaska Conference, youth and adults, and is a contagious proclaimer of Jesus. With Don's permission (not request), people in Alaska are organizing this fundraiser to help bless his family.

Don's oldest son just started school in Chicago at Northwestern University! It is amazing how a young man from a community of roughly 400 people ended up at one of the most prestigious Universities in the United States. Don was not able to bring his son to college and we would love to raise the funds to help Don visit Jared, possibly for family weekend in mid October (or the most sensible time). We feel strongly to try and bless Don and his kids and would love it if you were able to join us in this. All funds will go to Don Cross to be used at his discretion.
