Bless Pastor Richardson with a Car for His Birthday
Donation protected
Hello friends and family,
As many of you know, my dad, Rev. Dothan Richardson, III, served as a devoted pastor for over 20 years. He dedicated his life to guiding, teaching, and supporting countless people. His passion for serving others was unwavering, and he poured his heart into every sermon, every prayer, and every moment spent with those he led.
In 2015, however, my dad suffered a massive stroke that left him with Aphasia, a condition that affects his ability to speak. This loss was not only devastating to him personally, but it also meant he could no longer serve in the way he had for so many years. His inability to continue his work as a pastor has been extremely difficult for him.
Recently, while attempting to catch the city bus, my dad was injured. The accident only added to the challenges he’s faced over the past few years. In exactly 1 month, on February 4th, my dad will celebrate 65 years of life. On that day, I would love to see him receive a gift that would make a world of difference: a reliable car.
The goal of this GoFundMe is to raise enough funds to help my dad get a car so that he doesn’t have to rely on public transportation, especially in his condition. While our family is doing all we can to support him, I believe it would mean the world to my dad to see the people he served for so many years come together to bless him in this way.
This isn’t a plea because we’re unable to help — it's a way to show my dad that the love and care he gave for so long is still felt by those he helped. I know it would bring him immense joy and peace of mind to know that his community continues to think of him.
If my dad has touched you in any way, through his life, leadership, or his story, and you're able to contribute, no matter the amount, it will be a huge blessing. Your generosity will not only provide my dad with a reliable car but will also show him that he is still loved and appreciated by all the lives he touched.
Thank you so much for your support, prayers, and love during this time. It means more than words can express.
With heartfelt gratitude,
