This Is a Surprise — Let’s Bless Anne-Louise’s New Home

This fundraiser is a surprise for someone who has been a huge part of my life — and honestly, a huge part of most of our lives at Hill City. Anne-Louise has poured so much love, support, prayers, and encouragement into our community. She shows up consistently, quietly, and wholeheartedly. So many of us have been encouraged and supported because of her presence. Now she’s stepping into a brand-new chapter — her very own condo!

She just bought her own place (huge win!), but she’s starting completely from scratch: no furniture, no household basics. My (ambitious but hopeful) goal is to surprise her with a fully furnished condo to the greatest extent we can — a home that feels warm, comfortable, and truly hers from day one.

Ways to Help:

Donate new or gently used furniture or household items - I am working with Anna-Lisa to ensure anything we collect would be something within Anne-Louise's style! We want to be sure it feels like a space fit for her.

Help with moving furniture or setup - let me know if you are interested in helping! Goal is a Jan 3 surprise move in while we keep her distracted that morning.

Ask friends if they’re clearing out items they no longer need.

I’m working closely with Anna-Lisa to make sure everything matches Anne-Louise’s aesthetic and feels like home.

⏰ Timeline:

She closes at the end of the year and moves in the first week of January. My goal is to have all the furniture purchased and moved into her place within the full week of January. It’s a tight timeline, but I truly believe we can do this together. Anne-Louise has done so much for so many of us at Hill City. Helping her walk into a furnished, welcoming home is the least we can do.
