Every year I raise money to buy blankets for the homeless in San Diego. I purchase these blankets and give them to Alpha Project San Diego , who distributes them to those in need. Last year we provided over 1200 blankets! 

A new warm blanket on a cold night is like a hug. This year I will be buying blankets from a few sources, but all will be in the $6 to $10 range. Some will be queen size while others will be twin.  I ask for at least $10 per donation. That way you will be assured you are buying at least one blanket. The blankets I want to buy at the moment are $9.97 for plush queen size at Costco. I will buy them until they run out!
