Blankenship Healing Oasis Project

Hello friends/family! My name is Traci and I am raising funds for a project nearest and dearest to my heart. Chris Blankenship is one of the kindest, dearest, most loyal, fair, "ride or die" friends that has ever existed. He is the one who will answer the phone in the middle of the night and drive to you, he is the one who will anonymously donate to your kids band trip fundraiser, shows up to sing at your kid's 3 year birthday party. Chris is the one who fights for rates for crew, goes to bat for fairness. Chris is the one who shows up when you need him, with his unwavering optimism and his giant blue eyes, smiling ear to ear. Chris has the best advice, the best direction and the best plan! I know most of you reading this feel exactly the same way. Our dear Chris was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Multiple Myeloma. In his daily routine (before this) he loves swimming, biking, just being in nature and being near or in water. As he in now going through treatment much of this is put on hold. Water is known for its healing properties and for the relaxation and reflection it conjures. We want to raise funds to install a pond, water feature and friend/love driven landscape in Chris's yard, if he can't go to water, let's bring it to him! The idea is to create a reflecting garden that surrounds Chris and Wanda with the love and good vibes we all are sending. Each person can choose a plant that they want to sponsor. A ceramic tile will be created that will reflect the person's name so that whenever they need support, they can look out and see that they are surrounded by it. Margaret Heidrick and I will spearhead this effort and we are happy for anyone who wants to join in!
