We are Unity House Inc., a nonprofit based in Kansas City, Missouri, working to open a women’s sober living home that offers safety, structure, and a genuine chance at a new life. Our mission is simple: to give women in recovery the space, stability, and support they need to rebuild with dignity and hope.

Together, our small but dedicated board of volunteers is working around the clock to bring this vision to life. We’ve secured a house and are preparing to open our doors by November 15, 2025. Right now, we’re raising funds to furnish the home and cover essential startup costs — everything from beds and kitchen supplies to basic administrative expenses that make daily operations possible.

Our Founder and CEO, Allison Cole, is an attorney who once lost everything to alcohol addiction. Through recovery, she found a new purpose and a deep desire to give back. Unity House was born from her belief that every woman deserves the chance to start over — the same chance that others gave her when she needed it most.

This home represents more than a roof and four walls; it’s a foundation for women rebuilding their lives one day at a time. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to opening our doors and welcoming residents who are ready for their next chapter.
