Blake Bidwell Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Blake Bidwell. I am a Life Scout in Troop479 in Eden Prairie, MN. I am fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project. I would like to improve a baseball field at Eden Lake Park in Eden Prairie. I propose to add dugout covers to Field#2. The baseball fields at this park do not have dugout covers which leave players vulnerable to foul balls, sun and rain.

This project has been approved by the BSA, Eden Prairie Parks and the Eden Prairie Baseball Association. I have reached out to several community non-for profit organizations about grants but have not received any feedback yet. Eden Prairie Parks has approved the dugout cover vendor who will be providing the product. I will be leading the installation of these materials at the ball park.

I hope to secure all funding by the end of March so that I can lead the installation in April/May.
