**Ready to Roll: Help Us Find Our Home!**

The Black Flag is set to kick off the Building Futures Initiative, but we need your help to clear the final hurdle: securing a physical location. We’re seeking $200,000 to get started because finding startup capital for a nonprofit is a bitch when you're poor. We've got half of what we need already in storage, waiting for a destination. This isn't just a one-off project; it's the first of many unique endeavors by The Black Flag. We're all about doing what we love and not being tied to one purpose.

### Why We Need Your Help:

- **Real Estate Donation or Lease:** We're looking for a facility of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 sq ft. A non-monetary gift of real estate – whether as an outright donation or just tenancy in exchange for 501(c)(3) benefits – is much more preferable to cash. If you have leads or know someone who can help us get a conversation started with an interested owner or broker, that would be amazing.

- **Monetary Donations:** Cash to purchase or lease is always appreciated. Our current goal of $200,000 is based on our detailed budget needs to kick things off, covering initial renovations, operational expenses, and compliance requirements. ### What Makes Us Unique:

- **By the Punx, For the Punx:** We’re a community-driven initiative, rooted in punk rock culture and ethos. While shows aren't part of this charter, expect that we'll host events to build bridges in underground communities, with stages open to various creative outlets.

- **Fun Cultural Aspects:** Check out our [religious doctrines](https://theblackflag.org/walk-hard) that embrace the autonomy of the individual. This initiative is about creating a vibrant, inclusive space where everyone can express themselves freely.

- **Logical Infrastructure:** We've put a lot of work into our hybrid Azure and ADDS infrastructure, and deliverables like R030, whose initial small bit of equipment is in storage. We just need the physical space to stand up the servers and network equipment.

### Our Commitment:

I’m Brandon Michael Jeanpierre, the Chairperson of this organization, and I'm committed to making this happen. If we secure a property or a free lease agreement deal (even just for the first 6 months), we'll shut down this campaign and focus on running the program. Doing the damn thing is more appealing than trying to sell people on the idea and asking for money.
