Hi, my name is Kenneth Cook. I am a citizen of the Onondaga Nation living on the Blackfeet Nation in Montana. I work for Indigikitchen, an online teaching tool dedicated to revitalizing Indigenous foods and food knowledge. Since 2018, Montana has recognized the Lamebull Treaty of 1855, allowing the Blackfeet to hunt as far south as the Yellowstone River. This year, I am gathering a group of volunteers to travel to Yellowstone to harvest bison to donate to the local food pantry in Browning. We believe that access to high-quality traditional foods is critical to supporting public health and connection to culture.

To ensure we have the help we need, I am asking for support to pay for gas, lodging, and food for these volunteers. Help bring buffalo back to the people!
