WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
Care Collective is an artist-run incubator centering the creative and care practice(s) of black queer and trans artists. Created by black queer artists, Care Collective values the leadership, contributions, and artistic practices of black queer and trans artists. Witnessing the lack of accessibility, safety, and diversity in arts and cultural spaces for black queer and trans artists, Care Collective seeks to connect cultural safe passages for black queer and trans artists and cultural workers by creating spaces for these artists and cultural workers to gather, create, commune, and be.
YOUR IMPACT
In the wake of the murders of Nina Pop, Tony McDade, and so many more Black Queer and Trans people, Care Collective is committed to providing immediate and direct funds and resources to queer and trans artists. Your impact would help us on this journey of funding black queer futures.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We need your help (and resources) to get this done. We are asking foR your support to redistribute $250 microgrants to black queer and trans artists to help with any of their needs because #blacktranslivesmatter.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
We appreciate any and all support. If you're unable to support monetarily, we understand. We would love it if you could share the link to our Gofundme page or our Instagram account page with your online community to help spread the word! Also, reach out! If you have specific resources that you feel are aligned with our collective vision, we want to hear from you!
For more information, please email us at [email redacted] we would love to hear from you!
Take care.
