Please help us raise funds for general costs and a bail fund!
Black Lives Matter Pasadena will be using this fund to cover general costs, including supplies for protests, community events, organizing meetings, and to cover any unexpected bail to keep our freedom fighters out of the prison system.
Members and community who participate in our protests, actions, and all who benefit from the local fight for justice will benefit from these funds. When we fight, we win. All power to the people.
Black Lives Matter Pasadena was founded 5 years ago by Jasmine Richards Abdullah.
Jasmine was on the freedom ride to Ferguson to protest Michael Brown's murder, and became a member of BLM LA when it was first started. She is the first political prisoner of the Black Lives Matter movement, as she was charged for felony lynching by the Pasadena Police Department. A freedom fighter through and through, she started the Pasadena chapter to uplift and fight for her own community.
It is our duty to fight for freedom and it is our duty to win.
