Support Black Knights Kickboxing: A Community Champion's Comeback
For over 40 years, Black Knights Kickboxing has been more than just a gym – it's been a pillar of our community. Led by a legendary Sensei Alan who has dedicated his life to shaping individuals both mentally and physically, the gym has trained countless athletes, instilled confidence, and built resilience in people of all ages. His commitment has turned Black Knights into a home for those who seek to push their limits and become the best version of themselves.
But as many of you know, the journey hasn’t been easy. Over the years, the gym has faced many obstacles, the most recent being extensive flood/water damage to the building. The previous landlord’s neglect of necessary roof repairs has caused ongoing issues that have taken a toll on the space. After years of waiting, things are finally being addressed, but the fight is far from over.
Now, we're asking for your help to bring Black Knights Kickboxing back to life. To restore this beloved club to its former glory, we need support in the form of:
Paint and supplies to revitalize the gym’s walls and atmosphere
New matting for safe training spaces
New equipment to help athletes grow and excel
We’re also looking for volunteers willing to donate their time and skills to help with repairs and restoration.
This fundraiser is not just about fixing a building – it’s about helping a legend who has already fought through unimaginable battles. Last year, our Sensei courageously kicked cancer’s butt, and now, he’s ready to rebuild the gym so that he can continue his life’s work of developing strong, healthy individuals who are resilient in mind, body, and spirit.
Allan has given so much to our community, and it’s our turn to give back. He shouldn’t have to carry this burden alone. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help restore this essential space. Together, we can ensure that Black Knights Kickboxing continues to be a beacon of strength and empowerment for years to come.
Help us honor a true community hero and make a difference. Donate today, volunteer your time, or simply spread the word. Let’s bring this gym back to life and keep training the next generation of champions.
Thank you for your continued support!
