Omotola's MEDLIFE Trip to Ecuador
Donation protected
Hello friends and family! My name is Omotola (Tola) Akinrolabu and I am a rising junior at the University of Georgia. This summer, I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Esmeraldas, Ecuador with MEDLIFE mobile clinic in order to medically serve impoverished communities.
MEDLIFE is a non-profit organization that travels abroad to provide relief to underdeveloped communities. MEDLIFE stands for Medicine, Education, and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere. Our mission is to assist communities who are burdened by poverty to regain sustainability and strength through access to health care, access to education and development projects. Students from UGA MEDLIFE travel abroad to Peru, Ecuador, Tanzania, and India 2-3 times a years to organize and facilitate mobile medical clinics in rural villages. These mobile clinics offer communities an opportunity to be seen by licensed physicians and dentists which they unfortunately do not normally have access to.
I am excited about what God is going to do in my life and in other people's lives through the mobile clinic this summer and I hope that you see value in what we plan to accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. The total cost of the trip is $1800, which includes round-trip airfare, housing, food, etc. Absolutely ANYTHING you can do to blessing would be tremendously appreciated, whether it be $1, $5, $20 or simply prayers and words of encouragement. Please join me in taking part in this amazing opportunity by donating, praying, and sharing this page. Thank you so much and God bless!
