Hi there I have created this fundraiser to help my dad back in Bangladesh who lost all his pensions right before retiring so that he can have funds for medical expense and living. The medical expenses being his brain tumor.

My dad was nearing his retirement age and was looking forward to a big payout from his job (since pension doesn't exist in Bangladesh) to live the rest of his life well but 2 years before my dad retired the owner's son dissolved the company. So all the money he was expecting to get from the company after working there all his life (over £100K) he never received. He survived with what he had saved but in 2021 they caught a tumour in his brain which needed to be removed.

Since no medical insurance exists there, he spent the rest of his money on the operation. If any other medical emergency comes up again neither he nor I will have the money for the hospital. Most of the tumour has been removed but his treatments are still ongoing. I now help them monthly sending them money for all the necessities of life. I work at a job where I earn minimum wage. I support them as much as I can myself but buying a car for him that can be used for an additional income and an emergency medical fund for him and my mom is something I cannot afford by myself.

My dad is now past 70, and he now works for a vehicle rental company’s accounts team where he earns £100 a month. So here I am creating this today in hopes that you will let me help my dad retire by buying him a car which he can rent out to the company and have an additional income alongside what I send him every month.

Having a car would help his income go up by at least £300 a month and he can retire finally. Cars in Bangladesh costs a lot due to heavy taxation. Even a simple Toyota would cost around £30,000 and he does not have that. I don't know if we can raise enough but any amount raised will go towards his medical treatment or towards saving up to buy a car so we can afford the medical treatment.
