Project Name: Brooklyn Based Essential Items Drop-Off/Distribution
For and by: Black and Indigenous peoples
About the creators: The Brooklyn Based Essential Items Drop-Off/Distribution is led by two Brooklyn natives whose passion for giving back to our community is rooted in the African concept of “Ubuntu, having compassion and humanity towards others.” While the COVID-19 global pandemic threatens to break the spirit and tenacity of our people, our goal is to offset this vicious hold by providing essential supplies to those in need.
Date: Sunday August 23rd 2020
Time: Starting at 1pm
Goal: $3,500
Location: Outside of the Brooklyn Museum - 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11238
