Tyler and Ashley welcomed baby Hutsen on 9/12! He’s the most precious little guy with head full of black hair!!

Husten was born with an Omphalocele (pronounced uhm-fa-lo-seal). O is a birth defect of the abdominal (belly) wall. The infant's intestines, liver, or other organs stick outside of the belly through the belly button. The organs are covered in a thin, nearly transparent sac that hardly ever is open or broken.

Hutsen had surgery on 9/17 to correct his O
and it went really well except for his bowel being stuck to the little sack that was holding it. So far, the surgery seems to have been a success.  Hutsen popped on his own for the first time tonight (9/21) but still so much unknown.  They are going to take biopsy from his bowel to see if he has hirschsprung disease and have discovered he has hyperthyroidism.

Tyler and Ashley most definitely feel the prayers for baby Hutsen!  As you can imagine though, the cost of the lengthy hospital stay, NICU stay, surgery, and now traveling to/from hospital is adding up.   This page was created to support this sweet family during their time of need and will be used for hospital bills, hotel stay, gas, and/or food.
