Bittern Meadow - planning appeal -SUCCESS!
Donation protected
THE PLANNING PROCESS IS COMPLETE AND WE HAVE BEEN GRANTED RETROSPECTIVE PERMISSION FOR BITTERN MEADOW! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED US!!
Bittern Meadow needs your help. We need to raise funds to co-operate with the Broads Authority, and apply for planning permission, for change of use to become a ‘Community Wellness Facility’ so we can keep sharing the meadow magic.

To many people Bittern Meadow is so much more than four acres by the River Yare. It means different things to different people. Perhaps you have visited before, or will do in the future. Perhaps you have been part of our community already, tending the land. Or joining in with games, team building and activities,
shooting some arrows, enjoying the water or participating in the legendary Sumo tournament!
Perhaps you have learned skills with us -bushcraft or navigation. Maybe you’ve climbed a tree with us, or cuddled Shadow the dog!
Bittern Meadow has always been a place to meet friends, or make new ones, to sit round a campfire and share from the heart.
If you believe in what we do at Bittern Meadow, there are two ways to help.
Make a donation through our Go-Fund-Me page.
And write us a paragraph about what the Meadow means to you which we can include in our application to the planners.
You can help us ensure that we can go on growing, and appreciating wild nature, through the seasons
So we can go on gathering in Community at Bittern Meadow for years to come.
