I rarely ask for gifts for my birthday, but this year is different. Thirty years ago, when I was 24, I was launched into a journey that would transform my life ~ a journey that connected me to a community I didn't know I needed, an extended kinship of sisters and brothers who shared the same heartbreaks as me, and who were equally inspired to transform those challenges by serving others to make the world a better place to be.

That journey and that community became Also-Known-As, Inc., whose heart and soul has been about creating a space for intercountry adoptees to be empowered, to be the bridges their lives embodied, and to transform by celebrating the community of people whose lives, through adoption, bridge nations, cultures, and races, igniting the possibility of a future that celebrates our common humanity and human diversity.

The Challenge: $30 by 30 people

Please help me raise $900 (or more) to support Also-Known-As, Inc. so they can continue their mission and impactful work elevating intercountry adoptees and supporting adoptive families.
