Hi everyone, this year, I turn 50. You come to a stage in life when you discover that you have everything you need or want around you in the form of family and true friends. I have all this around me, plus I also have an awesome wife and a son I would sell my right arm for. I want for nothing in life right now.

Instead of gifts for my birthday celebrations, please consider donating to a charity I have worked with in the past. Surf2heal provides surf camps for children with Autism. It is based in Garretstown and is managed and run by volunteers. The work these people do can only be measured by the smiles on participants' faces and parents' gratitude (and tears). The atmosphere at the beach during these camps is infectious. Working with individuals with needs is something I hold close to my heart.
