This year for my birthday, there's nothing I want more than to be able to help those who have selflessly dedicated their lives to making this world a better place. We are experiencing unprecedented times, and our local communities are needing support/resources more than ever. Two organizations I would like to highlight and will be donating 100% of the proceeds to are The Precious Dreams Foundation and Children Striving Together. Both organizations were founded by two phenomenal black women who have continued to serve our communities even through the pandemic. As a volunteer for both organizations, I have seen first hand the positive impact that they have made on so many children's lives.
My birthday fundraising goal is to raise a total of $5,000. 100% of the funds will help these two organizations continue on with their mission in serving our youth in the most vulnerable communities.
$2.5K will help The Precious Dreams Foundation continue to provide bedtime comfort items to children in foster care, shelters, and transitional housing throughout NY, FL, LA, CHI, and DMV.
$2.5k will help Children Striving Together continue to fund their enrichment programs such as Mental Health Workshops, development programs, tutoring, school supplies, and future field trips for the children in the city of Compton, CA.
It would be the BEST birthday gift EVER if you all could help me reach my goal by donating what you can. I am grateful for any contribution, no amount is too small. I am just thankful for the opportunity to play a small part in supporting these two organizations who are making a BIG impact!
