Those of us who have been involved in organizing the general doula trainings in August and September of 2025 are excited to present our next training opportunity.

In 2025, the HRSA RCORP grant funded culturally-matched Listening Sessions within various birthing communities here in Humboldt County. The participants from this past summer doula trainings are being invited to come listen to the voices of the birthing community as told by various organizations and community members. It will also be a space to learn more about 2SLGBTIAQ+ birthing people and Recovery Resilience. A Know Your Rights training was held on 2/28 by Centro del Pueblo.

All proceeds go to the presenters, translators and for lunch. Lunch is being provided by local BIPOC businesses. Any additional funds will help provide transportation for doulas.
