In 2024, I sadly lost my beautiful Nan. She wasn’t just my Nan she was my best friend, my constant, and someone who meant the world to me. Her love, strength and kindness shaped who I am, and losing her has left a space that can never be filled.
My Nan had experienced a stroke, and during an incredibly difficult time, the Stroke Association were truly amazing. Their compassion, guidance and support meant so much to our family, and I will always be grateful for the work they do for individuals and loved ones affected by stroke.
I’ll be running the Birmingham Half Marathon alongside my friends Hannah and Eva, in my Nan’s memory, to honour her and to help raise vital funds for the Stroke Association so they can continue supporting others when they need it most.
Thank you for reading, for donating, and for helping me celebrate my Nan’s life
