Birchip Silo Art Project - Ray Neville

The Birchip Forum are looking to commemorate a local jockey, Ray Neville, who is the youngest person to ever win the Melbourne Cup. Neville won the cup in 1948 as a 15 year old in just his 9th ever start in a race. In 2018, a petition was set up asking people if they would like to get Ray painted on one of the decommissioned wheat silos in Birchip, it garnered over 600 signatures.
